A:M Lawyers – Fees & Expenses

At A:M Lawyers, we believe it is essential that you know exactly what to expect from the very start. That is why our fees and expenses are always discussed openly and in advance.

How are fees calculated?

In most cases, we work with an hourly rate, based on the time actually spent. Sometimes a value-based fee is applied: a percentage of the value of the dispute or the result achieved. For specific matters, a fixed fee can be agreed.

Office costs and expenses

In addition to fees, office costs and disbursements are charged, such as administration, travel, copies, registered mail, or court fees. These costs are always charged transparently and correctly.

Advances and retainers

We may ask for an advance or retainer at the start or during the handling of the case. This amount will of course be deducted from the final invoice.

Transparency and clarity

All agreements on fees and expenses are included in our engagement letter and general terms and conditions. You will always receive a clear invoice specifying services and costs in detail. We keep you informed throughout the process so there are never any surprises.
